Transdev John Holland Buses recently hosted a charity golf day at the Cabramatta Golf Club and raised $15,000 for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF). The event attracted around 100 industry leaders and key partners.
The day featured the 18-hole Ambrose golf tournament complemented by lunch, presentations, team results, rankings, prize winnings, and silent auction, all contributing to fundraising efforts.
Transdev John Holland Buses Managing Director Daniela Fontana was delighted with the turnout and large contributions from suppliers and stakeholders. She emphasised the strong partnership with SCHF that has been ongoing for the last decade.
“As the leading Sydney bus operator, we have always valued supporting our local communities and especially for our vulnerable customers and children,” she said. “I am so proud and thrilled to hand over the $15,000 donation – our largest amount raised, ever – to SCHF who supports children with cancer and their families. An outstanding result for a very great cause.
“I thank all our industry leaders, suppliers, key partners and our people for their generosity and support. Without your continued support this event is not possible.”
