Celebrating Reconciliation Week Together

27/05/2024

At Transdev John Holland, we are proud to draw attention to National Reconciliation Week. This year's theme - "Now More Than Ever" - reminds us of the ongoing fight for justice and rights for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Hosted by Randwick City Council and La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council, the annual Koojay Corroboree event at Coogee Beach on Friday, 31 May at 11am, will provide an opportunity for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements.

To connect our community to this enriching cultural experience, our 313, 350, 370, 373 and 374 buses will transport them to witness the sands of Coogee come to life through traditional and contemporary Aboriginal dance, music, and storytelling.

As we continuously provide safe and reliable services, please join us for a hassle-free journey. We remain committed to supporting indigenous participation across our bus operations.

Transdev John Holland acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, the traditional owners of the land on which we meet, work and learn. We pay our deepest respects to the first nation peoples and to their elders, both past, present and emerging.
