Anzac Day 2025: A Powerful Moment of Remembrance and Community

25/04/2025

Recently, our three bus depots at Randwick, Waverley, and Port Botany each transformed into places of profound reflection and honour for our ANZACs.

Randwick Bus Depot featured the Sydney Boys High School Marching Band who filled the air with powerful melodies, their music a tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation.

This 77th Anniversary Ceremony at Randwick also brought together Randwick Bus Institute, Randwick Ex-Serviceman’s Club and community leaders, including Randwick Councillor Noel D’Souza and Member for Coogee representative Jared Turkington. Similarly, our Waverley and Port Botany teams hosted their own commemorative events, each creating spaces for remembrance and respect. Across all locations, we stood shoulder to shoulder, united in our commitment to remember and honour. Deeply moving commemorative poems, delivered by our own staff members, captured the essence of mateship, sacrifice, and resilience that defines the Australian spirit.

At Transdev John Holland Buses, we understand that our role goes far beyond transportation. We are connectors – linking people, communities, and memories. On Anzac Day, we were reminded that every journey we facilitate is built on the foundation of freedom and sacrifice provided by those who came before us.

To all who have served, we say thank you. Your courage continues to inspire us.
