🚍 We're Hiring: Relief Charter Coordinator – Waverley Depot
A vacancy has become available for a Relief Charter Co-ordinator, reporting to the Network Planning Lead, you’ll support continuous seamless planning and delivering charter services to our commercial customers.
This role will be based at Waverley Depot, from Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 04:00 pm.
The initial training period will be a minimum of 5 weeks with the Charter Co-Ordinator, with ongoing refresher training 3 days every 4 weeks to remain up to date on processes and changes.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate charter bookings, and prepare quotes
- Respond to charter enquiries in a timely manner
- Liaise with Service Delivery team to ensure seamless delivery of all charter services
- Prepare clear and accurate charter instructions to ensure safe operation of rigid and articulated vehicles.
- Ensure charter itineraries/schedules adhere to relevant Industrial Instruments and Fatigue management guidelines
- Maintain and accurately update information in charter roster and allocate a suitable shift in VDS/ HASTUS.
- Ensure accurate invoice information is provided regularly to avoid delay.
- Tracking and reporting charter bookings, leads and new business, and update information on the charter venue address list.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of Eastern Region bus routes and surrounding areas.
- Hold a current or ability to obtain TLIF006 Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System certificate.
- Ability to interpret and apply the TJHB Bus Operator EA and Fatigue Management Legislation.
- Experience in using roster software such as HASTUS and VDS/MobiPlanning, and mapping software such as Google Maps
- Excellent customer service skills, willingness to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Ability to use Microsoft Suites such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
