This role sits within our NSW bus business, Transdev John Holland which operates as an integrated joint partnership between two highly successful global entities who have come together to operate the Region 9 Bus business.

 

Transdev John Holland Buses (NSW) provides commuters in Sydney’s CBD and Eastern suburbs with a greener, more reliable journey. The region includes some of the city’s busiest bus routes with a patronage of 67 million customer journeys in a typical year.

 

This unique opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and high value professional who will contribute to our mission in the role of Head of Assets. As the Head of Assets, you will be responsible for leading the Assets and Maintenance function to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable and well-presented buses and facilities for the Client, community and employees within Transdev John Holland Buses’ contractual and financial obligations.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of talented professionals and bring your unique skills and perspectives to support our business goals. This role involves significant focus on asset maintenance and performance; lifecycle asset management and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within commercial timeframes and budgets.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

About you:

You are an established industry leader (10+ years experience) who is looking to take their next step in their career and build on their skill set. Ideally, we are looking for an incumbent with demonstrated strong asset management and strategic project leadership capability. You will be well versed in heavy vehicle technical expertise and possess the ability to build effective partnerships with influential stakeholders.
