Your role:

We are seeking a Workshop Trade Assistant on day shift (6am-2.30pm Monday to Friday) at our Port Botany bus workshop. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a team of talented professionals and bring your unique skills and perspectives to support our goals. 

Your responsibilities:

Assist Engineering Repair Trades staff with service, maintenance and repair of the bus fleet. 

Cleaning of the workshop including sweeping floors and emptying bins.

Carry out minor servicing and repairs under supervision.

Support Engineering Repair Trades staff with spare parts issuing and allocation.

Operate light machinery such as pedestrian forklift, yard scrubber, floor scrubber, bin lifter.

The talent you bring:

Must have relevant automotive experience shown on resume including the use of hand tools and power tools.

Current NSW HR drivers licence (or have a current NSW C class licence and have the ability to upgrade to an HR licence).

Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information.

Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable).
